Aims:
– Present an overview of Moodle, explaining what it is and the various levels at which it can be used;
– Equip supervisors with the knowledge to use Moodle at a basic level, including tasks such as
organizing content, uploading materials, and setting up collaborative activities;
– Demonstrate how Moodle can be effectively integrated with Google Suite to facilitate active and
collaborative teaching/supervisioning.
Results/Learning Outcome:
By the end of the tutorial, participants will have an understanding of the key educational uses of
Moodle and Google Suite, enabling them to:
– Insert and organize teaching materials;
– Design and implement interactive activities for PhD students, such as forums, assignments, quizzes,
feedback, and integrating additional Moodle features;
– Use the basic functions of Google Suite in conjunction with the Moodle platform
